Graduate employer profile

Winner of the gradireland Best Training and Development Programme 2010 and gradireland Graduate Employee of the Year 2011.

This all-island programme provides unique opportunities for talented and dynamic people to help a company create and develop technologically innovative and commercially viable products and services and gain significant project management experience.   Each year InterTradeIreland actively recruit graduates onto our FUSION programme from within the science, engineering and technology disciplines.

Graduate Opportunities

As a graduate, FUSION can provide you with a real opportunity to
significantly improve your career prospects coupled with an attractive salary and training package.

You will be employed by a progressive company as a project manager to lead a specific technology-based development project.  During this time you will be provided with full support from a specialist university, college or research centre.

One of the benefits of this collaborative approach is that you will gain access to top research and development facilities within the university or college, receiving ongoing support from a leading academic with expertise in the relevant subject area, and support from a FUSION consultant representing InterTradeIreland who will oversee the management of the programme.

Training and Development

As part of the FUSION programme, you will undertake a postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business in UCD as well as other specialised training tailored to your needs.

FUSION offers you a real opportunity to unlock your potential and accelerate your career prospects into senior management roles, meeting other like-minded people working on similar projects, sharing experiences, issues and ideas.

Application Process

You must have a degree or diploma which matches the criteria of the position being advertised by the company. In some cases, you may be required to have relevant previous experience in industry.  For candidates applying for each position, a job description and specification are issued. Completed applications will be reviewed by an experienced panel and shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview.
