Who we are

Canada Life began operating in Ireland in 1903. In 2003, Canada Life was bought by Great-West Lifeco Inc. to create Canada’s largest life insurance business with interests in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany. Since 2003 we have completed a major strategic review resulting in a significant investment in the Irish and European operations as part of an aggressive market growth strategy.We trade today as Canada Life Ireland.

The Canada Life Assurance Company serves people under individual and group contracts throughout Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany. Our highly successful German business is fully supported and managed in Ireland.

Our core business is to offer products and services to meet our client’s needs including: Investments, Pensions, Life Assurance, Serious Illness and Savings.
