About The Role
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- An excellent understanding of planning and scheduling of work processes
- Ability to gather, understands, analyse, and interpret information and concepts. Verbal and numerical, about people or situations quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work self-sufficiently
- Must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to actively lead and/or participate in a fact-based, cross-functional teamwork environment
- An ability to work independently as well as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with experience in demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
- Embrace cultural and safety initiatives and programs within Engineering and work collaboratively within the Plant team

Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Site Operations Site Manager
- Manage the IWS processes Line Management and operative Technicians
- Responsible for ensuring the correct H&S, procurement and administration procedures are followed on ever job
- Support in managing the maintenance and safety procedures and update training tracker
- Promote and lead a proactive and positive safety culture, always adhering to safe working practice
- Be expected to produce high quality work along with your colleagues, Line Management and the Operations Team
- Actively take part in risk assessments, Method Statements, ECPs, SPAs and all related Health and Safety issues
- Identify problematic plant and the subsequent faults and to take part in finding efficient solutions to return equipment to working order
- Provide knowledge, information and provide on-site support for our Client, Operational team, and partners
- Support in Documenting and prepare daily progress reports
- Support in Managing on site Bulk Storage tank levels (high/low)
- Support in Managing / Ordering bulk chemicals for storage tanks from client’s chemical supplier
- Support in bulk chemical tanker drivers arriving on site
- Support in Checking documentation for bulk chemical deliveries
- Recording deliveries on client’s database
- Support Managing the Unloading of the chemical delivery trucks when they arrived on site to required bulk storage tanks and filling them to desired level
- Support in Managing on site Waste collection tanks levels
- Support in Managing Road tankers from Clients Hazardous Waste Supplier Company to empty waste collection tanks
- Support in Managing of chemical tankers for offsite treatment/disposal
- Acting as an intermediary between Tanker Vendors
- Ensure safe working of Technical Operative/contractors when un/loading bulk hazardous chemicals tankers on Client's site
- Support in Managing collections of waste from /bulk chemical deliveries to Client's site arranging collections/ deliveries and dealing with other haulers
- Engaging in cross skilling duties where required

Essential Criteria:
- If non-EEA, must hold a valid Visa with permission to work in the Republic of Ireland on a full-time basis
