Why Choose This Course
Is ábhar suntasach 'An Léann Dúchais'. Is iontach an t-ábhar é do mhic léinn a bhfuil suim sa Ghaeilge agus go háirithe i gcultúr na Gaeilge acu. Tugann sé deis don mhac léinn ollscolaíocht as Gaeilge a bheith aici nó aige. Déanann "Béaloideas." staidéar faoi leith ar bhéaloideas na hÉireann, ar sheanchas, ar chreideamh agus ar phiseoga, agus ar an gcultúr fisiciúil nó ábhartha. Is tosnú é ar eolas a chur ar an mbéaloideas féin nó ar an ndúchas seo agus ar an léann a bhaineann leis.
It is intended for those who already have a 3 or 4 year primary degree, preferably in the area of Arts or the Sciences, and who wish to study one of the subject Bealoideas intensively over one academic year. The Higher Diploma in Arts is a conversion programme and applicants would not normally have studied the relevant subject to Honours Degree level previously.
