Computer Science - Waterford
This award winning course facilitates graduates from non-computing disciplines to acquire the cutting-edge programming skills, practical experience, and in-depth knowledge required for employment in software development. The curriculum is closely aligned with current industry needs and emerging technologies.
The course is delivered in Agile Semesters typically consisting of 4, three-week sprints followed by 1-week breaks for retrospective, after each sprint. Average time commitment is 16 hrs per week. Online delivery over the two years is supplemented by four onsite workshops.
This practical, skills-orientated course is implemented through step-by-step online labs/classes, pre-recorded sessions and Q&A sessions. We work to build a sense of community online with ongoing communication and support.
