Education - Management in Education
The MA in Management in Education (MAME) aims to develop education professionals' knowledge, skills and competence in educational leadership and management. The MAME, designed by educational leaders, reflects the key changes in education leadership both nationally and internationally. By connecting theory to practice, participants are encouraged to actively engage collaborate with fellow professionals to enhance their learning experience.

Entry requirements
To apply for the MAME, you must have:
• An Honours Degree or equivalent
• Three years' postgraduate experience in an educational/training environment
• Access to an educational organisation where primary research may be carried out
• Computer and internet access.
If English is not your primary language, you must submit evidence of competency in English. Please see www.wit.ie/englishrequirements for more details.
Recognition of Prior Learning:
If you have already completed a Level 9 qualification in a related field, you may apply for exemptions from similar MAME modules. In order to apply for RPL, you must submit documentary evidence to show you have achieved the module learning outcomes in a comparable module/programme of study. You must complete the RPL application form and provide documentary evidence to support your application. RPL decisions are not made in advance of the programme commencement, however, Dr Anne Graham Cagney, the Programme Leader, can discuss your personal situation with you. Duration
2 - 5 years blended.
Duration: Students have up to five years to complete the MAME. Typically, students opt to complete the programme in two academic years, however, it is up to you to decide how many modules you wish to complete per year. It is recommended that you begin your studies with the following three mandatory modules:

On successful completion of the MAME, graduates may progress to doctoral studies at WIT or another Higher Education Institution subject to meeting the specific entry criteria.
