Education - Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

The Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education is a Minor Award (30 credits, Level 9) designed to equip new and experienced lecturers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to design and deliver student-centred educational programmes in higher education. It also aims to enable participants to evaluate the effectiveness of those experiences and to reflect on how to engage their learners more effectively within different higher education settings. Working in a collaborative learning environment, participants will expand their repertoire of teaching, curriculum design and assessment strategies in order to enhance their approach to teaching and learning in Higher Education.

Opportunities
