Emergency Medical Sciences - Advanced Paramedics

The Centre for Emergency Medical Science (CEMS) offers an MSc Emergency Medical Science (Advanced Paramedic). Candidates complete a minor thesis by primary research in a relevant area of pre-hospital emergency care and acquire a further 30 ECTS credits.

Entry requirements

Access to this module is limited to those holding the Grad Dip EMS or HDip EMS. Candidates will complete a primary research project in a subject area related to the practice of pre-hospital emergency care. A research proposal must be submitted and approved before acceptance to the module. External and internal assessors will report on the completed dissertation.

Prepare a brief outline of an idea or area of interest for a research project – 500 words on propsed topic and proposed approach to the research area. Submit by e-mail with a curriculum vitae.
