Facilities Management

What is this course about?
Our Certificate in Facilities Management allows participants to develop knowledge of the principals and practices involved in energy management. They will examine energy analysis techniques for buildings and become familiar with relevant energy management documentation and information technology systems.

Learning Outcomes
• To demonstrate an understanding of the principles and practice of Energy Management strategies in commercial and industrial environments;

• To manage a facility in a sustainable and energy efficient manner understanding the application of best practice in energy management systems;

• To demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements from an energy management perspective;

• To prepare or evaluate a building energy audit and understand how an audit can drive performance improvement.
