Course Profile

This course aims to develop effective leaders who have the capacity to lead organisational and sectoral change, implement a strategic vision, and motivate employee performance to deliver excellence.

Course content focuses on the development of leadership qualities that are seen as critically important in complex administrative environments.

Participants develop their ability to manage and lead, bring about change, implement strategic plans, negotiate effectively, assess information logically, take responsibility and lead performance excellence in their organisations and sectors.

The course places a strong emphasis on experiential learning and skills and, as such, values reflective engagement with assigned content, readings and participation in learning activities.

Entry requirements

Special Entry Requirements
Candidates must have a:
• 2.2 honours undergraduate degree
• minimum three years' experience in a relevant area

For our undergraduate diploma and degree courses, if you are aged 21 years or over by January 1st of the year of entry, you may matriculate on the grounds of mature years alone. Therefore, some undergraduate courses featuring in this business prospectus state that there are no formal entry requirements involved. The Bachelor of Commerce (Online) and the Higher Diploma in Business Studies (Online) are exceptions.

If you are aged under 21 on January 1st of the year of entry to a part-time course, different admission criteria apply and you may, in certain circumstances, be asked to fulfil the matriculation requirements for the University. English Language Requirement
All applicants, whose first language is not English, or who have not been educated through the medium of the English language during their two most recent years of study, must present one of the following qualifications in the English language: IELTS: 6.5 or TOEFL (IBT): 92. Assessment Info
