Project Management
What is Certificate in Project Management?
The Certificate in Project Management is a new short (fifteen week) Level 8 programme specifically designed for those who are keen to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform effectively at an executive level in organisations.
The delivery of the programme utilises a blended learning approach which incorporates methods including lectures (online and face-to-face), workshops, videos, case studies and discussion boards to replicate the managerial scenarios and tasks that participants would encounter in the real world. It aims to equip candidates with modern tools for effective decision-making and to provide them with the ability to evaluate their decisions in the context of real-world case examples.
The programme is ideal for anyone without a business qualification who is keen to develop the skills that will help them transition into junior and middle level managerial roles. Incorporating modules like Project Management, Managing Change, and Business Process Mapping and Improvement, this programme is designed with strong industry input and the contributions of leading experts in delivering content and sharing their expertise and networking opportunities.
The course structure allows participants to pursue their desired goals, such as progression to other higher level qualifications. This may include opportunities to pursue a Higher Diploma in Business or more specialised qualifications in HRM, finance, marketing or general business management.
Special Feature
The course is a one semester programme, flexibly-delivered utilising a block-release mode (2 days per month) and blended approach for the delivery of four modules over a Semester. This delivery mode was specifically designed to facilitate flexibility for the learner.
