Science Computing - Systems & Information Technologies Services - Carlow
It equips successful participants with a range of core IT skills, that can open career routes in the vibrant information Technology (IT) sector. A 3 month work placement concludes semester 2 of both streams. There are many career paths available to graduates ranging from careers as Web Developers to Network Administrators to IT Consultants and many careers in between. Graduates of this course will be able to apply knowledge of proven and emerging protocols, methods and tools of software engineering, information systems and systems management in the development and management of IT systems and services.

Entry requirements
Applicants will be considered from those with Honours Degrees (Level 8) or equivalent qualifications. Other applicants will be considered on an individual basis in accordance with the SETU policy on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
