Sustainable Supply Chains
What is this course about?
Our Certificate in Sustainable Supply Chains is designed to underpin the importance of developing sustainable solutions at all levels of the supply chain, from product design to delivery. It brings together key themes of points of discussion in relation to sustainability and how it relates to business. Learners will develop the knowledge to select and implement appropriate tools, techniques, and metrics to address sustainability issues throughout the supply chain. They will also develop a greater understanding of the value added by the adoption of a green agenda in business.
Learning Outcomes
• Assimilate the various discussions and themes on the issue of sustainability, generally and in relation to business in particular.
• Align sustainability with corporate strategy and global supply chain, marketing and distribution strategies.
• Recommend, select and implement appropriate tools, techniques and metrics for the measurement and reporting of the level of sustainability in processes and products, within the operation and throughout the supply chain.
• Demonstrate a proficiency in leading change in relation to creating a more sustainable future for enterprise and for communities.
• Assess the potential value added from the adoption of a green agenda.
