What is this course about?
The aim of this course is to provide an in-depth overview into the importance of workforce wellbeing to meet a legislative and Industry need in order for students to acquire the knowledge, skills and competences required to understand the increased importance and relevance of employee health and wellbeing. Investing in employee wellbeing can lead to increased resilience, better employee engagement, reduced sickness absence and higher performance and productivity.

Learning outcomes
• Demonstrate an understanding about the importance of employee health and wellbeing and its relevance in an organisation's approach to its people management and evaluate management practices and policies in relation to staff health and wellbeing.

• Critically assess the way in which the physical environment influences the health of workers, and the interventions required to create a supportive physical environment.
