These tips will be based on my own experience training and coaching in effective communication and presentation skills since 2002. Catherine Moonan

Catherine Moonan is the author of ‘The Pitch Coach’, published by Liberties Press in January 2016. Catherine set up Communication Matters in 2002 to provide training and coaching in Communication and Presentation Skills. Since then, Catherine has trained individuals and corporate groups within a wide range of business sectors. Catherine is an Associate Trainer with SureSkills and the Irish Management Institute (IMI). Catherine is the Pitch Coach on RTÉ’s ‘Dragons’ Den’, having successfully coached over 500 contestants on all the series to date and helped them to secure over €4 million investment.

Rowan Manahan

Orlaith Tunney

Orlaith is a Careers Adviser with Trinity College Dublin. She has particular interest in working with students with languages. This is reflected in her work with the School of Languages Literatures and Cultural Studies at Trinity College Dublin, managing a HEA funded project “Transferable Skills in Third Level Modern Language Curricula” and helped to create an employer fair for higher education students and graduates with languages, the GRADchances Languages Fair was born! She has an MA in Career Education, Information and Guidance from Warwick University and a HDip in Career Guidance and Counselling from UCC. She is qualified to administer the MBTI personality assessment. Orlaith is an active member of the Association of HE Careers Services (AHECS) and has served on a number of, committees and working groups over the years. She is currently leading AHECS contribution to the two year Erasmus+ project “Crafting Employability Strategies for HE Students of Languages in Europe” where materials are being adapted to enhance the employability of students of language throughout Europe.

Marie Kielty

Marie has been the Careers Officer in IT Tallaght for over 13 years providing both undergraduate and postgraduate advice and support to students from a broad range of disciplines. She previously worked in a similar role for over 8 years in another college.
