gradireland in partnership with Aldi are delighted to bring you the opportunity to speak with professional mentors to support you in achieving your career goals.

Aldi Mentor Moments @ the gradireland Graduate Careers Fair gives you the opportunity to discuss your future career goals and map out your path to career success.

"A mentoring session is an opportunity for you to discuss your aspirations, your CV and where you see your future. This session will allow you to focus on how you can make the most of your credentials when applying for roles post-graduation." Hannah Condron, HR Manager at Aldi Ireland.

If you would like to apply to participate in the Aldi Mentor Moments, request a meeting with an Aldi Mentor when the fair opens on the 24 September. You will then receive a notification if you have been successful in your application - spaces are very limited so apply as soon as possible.

What you will need:

  • A complete profile in the virtual fair
  • Your most recent CV attached to your profile

This information is vital in helping the mentors, Brian and Hannah, to understand more about you. With this information they will customise the mentoring session to meet your needs.

There are limited places available so once the fair is open please apply as soon as possible.

Meet the Aldi mentors

 

Brian joined Aldi in 2006 on the Area Manager programme and then joined the Academy in 2015 as the HR Director for Aldi Ireland.

With over 18 year’s operations experience, he has managed and lead teams of 100+ members as well as mentoring individuals through their careers.

Brian’s impressive repertoire of people and project management is an asset in managing and leading the national recruitment, selection, attraction, training and retention strategy for the Irish business. A mentoring session is an opportunity for you to discuss your aspirations, your CV and where you see your future. This session will allow you to focus on how you can make the most of your credentials when applying for roles post-graduation.

 

At the Aldi HR, we look at strategy and transformation. We recognise that learning and development drives competitive advantage and is paramount for our talented workforce. My role is to manage the attraction, recruitment and selection of Aldi’s workforce, including graduates, as well as their future development and career journeys within Aldi. HR deeply involved with supporting development and facilitating progression to enhance people’s careers, rolling out organisation-wide initiatives to support our teams.
