For Purpose Ireland's Not-for-Profit Graduate Programme

The sector also includes international organisations who work across the globe in developing nations and approved housing bodies who provide social housing – For Purpose provides graduate traineeships across a diverse range of not-for-profit organisations that play a key role in Irish society.

We are looking for graduates across a broad range of degree disciplines to work with our not-for-profit partner organisations. The programme is taking applications now for graduate traineeships across a range of areas including property surveying, housing management, fundraising & communications with further areas to be added soon. The programme offers full-time paid graduate traineeships in the sector and a comprehensive training and development programme including access to formal accreditation routes.

Fostering Future Leaders

Graduate trainees on the For Purpose programme are supported by one-to-one monthly mentoring sessions provided by experienced professionals working in the not-for-profit sector as well as attending roundtable sessions covering a range of areas directly related to working in the not-for-profit sector. For Purpose provides you with the supports and foundation to begin your career and develop your skills and potential as a leader.

Traineeships in social housing offer access to accreditation for property surveyors with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and for housing officers with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH). More information on this can be found below under 2019 programme.
