Emerging Trends in Graduate Development

Taking place in the Irish Management Institute, Sandyford, Dublin from 8am to 12.30pm on Thursday 6 April 2017, this event is designed for HR Directors/Managers, Talent Managers, recruiters and anyone interested in emerging trends in graduate/talent development.

Featuring presentations, panel discussions and ‘best practice’ case studies, this Masterclass will review current practices in graduate development programmes, consider retention and branding strategies, look at current and future challenges and discuss new trends in programme design.

  • Coaching as a Talent Management Tool – the key to retention? Paula Mullin will lead a session on the latest thinking on coaching for early career development – and meeting graduate expectations.

Paula Mullin is an Executive and Communications coach, with a BA hons in Psychology and Sociology from Queens University Belfast and qualifications in Personal and Executive Coaching, Communications Training, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Public Relations.

Paula strongly feels that at the core of any successful business are highly driven and motivated individuals with an ability to effectively communicate to both their internal and external stakeholders, and has a passionate interest in executive and career coaching.

  • The Generation Game -  when X meets Y meets Z in the workplace - Fabio Grassi explores generational differences in learning, communicating and leadership styles, alongside techniques used to bridge generational tiers in workplaces.

Fabio Grassi is a specialist in training design, development and delivery. Fabio’s focus is to help executives and managers to develop their teams’ performance, collaboration and motivation.

Fabio is currently the founder and director of two learning and development organisations, consulting top teams globally in their effort to develop high performance and strategic behavioural change.

  • New Thinking on Graduate Development – Rationale, Challenges, Rewards - Case studies and Chaired panel discussion on the rationale for building a graduate talent pipeline; some common challenges; and the ultimate rewards to your business.
