From the start of my time with AECOM, I have worked on a range of interesting and diverse projects in Ireland and internationally. Much of this work involves using the latest energy modelling software, AECOM in-house programs and as a primarily BIM-only office I feel we are at the forefront of energy efficient design within the Irish industry.

My job involves designing comfortable indoor environments to the latest standards in energy efficient design, reducing energy costs and associated CO2 emission which has the direct benefit to our clients and our environment.

Working within the Building Engineering team in the Dublin office has provided me with an ideal opportunity to maintain and develop the skills I have gained during my studies, with AECOM supporting further career development based on my interests within the field of building services engineering.

The Dublin office’s Building Engineering team are very friendly with support offered from all members of the team. There are multiple social team nights along with the office-wide Sports and Social committee providing many opportunities to meet colleagues from other teams within the office.
