“I’ve gained so much experience in different areas of the business. For instance, the stores are very customer-facing and spending time there has given me a fuller picture of how strategic decisions made in the office can affect, not only our colleagues on the ground, but also our customers.
“The grads are like a team. We met monthly for training days in the Tesco Academy, which I feel supported both my personal and professional development. We also presented a final project to the CEO and senior leadership team which demonstrated how we had worked collectively. I’ve finished the grad programme now and I’m currently Benefits Manager on the People team.”
