What’s your background?

I started in the company in September 2008 as a Supply Chain Graduate. This was a two year program focusing mainly on the fundamentals of Supply Chain and people management. This gave me a great grounding and really pushed me outside of my comfort zones. On completion of the Graduate Programme I then moved into the position of a Line Manager in our Kilcock Depot which is one of the biggest central distribution centres in the country. 2 years later I moved into the position of an Operations Manager on our Cork Site, which has really pushed me and allowed me to develop even further.

What benefits did you get from the Programme?

The Graduate programme allowed me access to being part of the biggest supply chain in Ireland. It allowed me to develop as a people manager and pushed me to be involved in projects and gain exposure to areas which I would have struggled to see if I were not on this programme.

What have been some of your highlights in Musgrave?

My highlights in the company have been working with a great group of people, having a company that invests in my development and being in a position where you are always challenged with something new.
