What drew me to GLG was the ability to apply what I learnt in DCU and to get exposure to a myriad of business sectors while using the languages I studied. I started in GLG as an intern, progressing to an Associate role where I engaged with leading professionals across various regions and industries. I then graduated to become a Senior Associate working on projects directly with clients and six months later, got promoted to a Research Manager role where I liaise on multiple engagements with the leading consulting firms and professional services firms in EMEA. I have had the chance to work in different teams and mentor newly-joined Associates.

I love the broad exposure to different topics that I never would have had the chance to learn about otherwise. I also love dipping into another side of GLG, the Social Impact Program where I get to use skills I’ve learned here to help those in need. From quiz nights and team dinners to bake-sales and volunteering, to hiking and Pilates, and everything in between, GLG’s social events are a great way take a break and to get to know fellow GLGers. Being at GLG for me means being part of a fast-paced, growing industry where I see lots of potential and opportunity. I would certainly recommend GLG to anyone who wants to leverage their languages working in a diverse, fast-paced environment, who likes a challenge and wants to progress quickly in their career.
