"People get promoted based on achievements, time served and merit. It gets gradually more difficult to get promoted the higher up you get, but on average people get promoted every 18 months or so."

"There are a number of teams and career paths at the company; data management, training, mobile development, etc. And once you make your manager aware of a wish to transition into one of these roles it isn't usually too hard to make the move, provided you show the skills needed for the role. There are training modules for a few of these things as well."
