"Both colleagues and managers are friendly, teamwork and socialising are encouraged and there are lots of co-op nights out. The structure is transparent and there are lots of opportunities for progression through the ranks."

"Everyone is nice, welcoming and helpful. It is easy to get on with people at every level and there is always someone to assist you with your work. The people I've worked with have always been good to socialise with, be it at lunch or after work."
Dublin
"There were so many after-work events both firm-wide and within the team I was working in. Everyone was approachable and friendly and even the partners introduced themselves to everyone. I found it easy to make new friends within the firm with other interns and associates."
Dublin
"A great effort is made by HR and the company to ensure we network with fellow colleagues and interns."
Dublin
"The culture is very good and everyone is encouraged to be themselves. There are many socialising activities throughout the year. Everyone in the office is familiar with each other and teamwork is very important."
Graduate, Waterford
"The culture is excellent. Everyone is approachable and easy to cooperate with."

"The culture at PwC was an aspect that stood out to me greatly. In addition to the vibrant culture within the workplace, the graduate team placed a very strong emphasis on ensuring that the summer interns were provided with sufficient opportunities to network with one another both in the office and after hours. Additionally, we attended various events including a summer BBQ, our internship summit in Kilashee and the Leopardstown Races. I was never in a position where I felt inferior as everybody I met was extremely inclusive."
Dublin
"The culture here is brilliant. Everyone is very hardworking while still having time to enjoy themselves while on the job. As a co-op, I've found that everyone is willing to give a helping hand in any way possible."

"Everything is built around the people. The culture is welcoming and helpful and everybody is willing to answer questions and help you get along. The structure and hierarchy are very clear but they don't create barriers and I felt that I could approach anybody no matter what position they held."
Intern, Dublin
"Very relaxed and people-focused while remaining professional at the same time. We have an open-plan office so everyone is on the same level with each other. You need to share some space but still have your own desk."
Graduate, Dublin
"The culture in the office is very healthy. There are plenty of opportunities to socialise, both at company events and private gatherings. The hierarchy is present but not oppressive, you can chat away to any member of the firm, including the MD, if you run into them."
Graduate, Dublin
"Teamwork was a must within my department and everyone helped each other so there was a great atmosphere. They also knew the balance between work and social life and there were various nights out throughout my internship."
Intern, Dublin
"There is definitely a work/life balance within the culture of the company as well as respect for those in leadership. The company is understanding about personal circumstances and has implemented an early finish on Fridays during the summer months and before bank holidays. Social events for staff allow them to feel appreciated too."
Intern, Dublin
"I think there is an excellent culture within the firm. I have experienced life in another Big 4 firm from a summer internship and there were many aspects that made PwC my choice of employer, including the fact that there appears to be a much flatter hierarchical structure. The social events are an excellent way of getting to know colleagues both in and outside of the department and, in the short time we have been here, we have already had the opportunity to attend the away weekend and other events, which were a great way to get us integrated into the department."
Graduate, Dublin
"It's a positive environment where everyone will help and answer your questions. Everyone understands that you are still learning and will guide you on your way."
Graduate, Dublin
"There is a really good and happy atmosphere in work. The different levels in the hierarchy constantly interact to the point where you can forget that the hierarchy exists. This makes for a more comfortable learning atmosphere. The company also has regular events both during the day and in the evenings for the new graduates and for the levels above us on a firm-wide scale. Overall, they really promote a work/life balance and want people to feel happy to be here."
Graduate, Dublin
"From my first impression, there seems to be a culture of working hard but also having fun and being relaxed in your job."
Graduate, Dublin
"The social life in PwC is second to none in my opinion – there seems to be some activity on every week. Within the office there is a strong sense that this is the best professional services firm in Ireland and we do everything we can, and more, to ensure that it stays that way."
