How would you describe your work hours? In a typical week, how many hours do you spend in the office?
"My normal working day is from 8:00am to 6:00pm. There is flexi-time in place whereby you can start between 8:00am and 9:00am and finish between 4:00pm and 6:00pm, so long as you work at least 43 hours per week. You can take shorter/longer lunches so as to suit your work/personal needs."HR, Graduate, Naas
"My official work hours are from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Thursdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday. We have recently introduced flexible working hours which allow us to alter our working hours to accommodate other things such as hobbies."Graduate, Newbridge
"We have recently changed our working times to flexi-time. We are given an average of how many hours per week we are expected to work, and we can choose what hours we do. If for some reason I am very busy and I work more hours than my contract says, I can simply take the hours back the next day or week."Midlevel, Kildare
"The company have recently introduced flexi-time for staff, and this has helped with the long office hours. We do not do too much overtime, but the standard day is quite long."Midlevel, Newbridge
"Lidl have recently introduced flexible start/finish times which is extremely beneficial for a work/life balance; especially for playing sports in the evening."Human Resources, Graduate, Cork
