What kind of candidates does your firm look to hire? What tips and advice would you offer potential candidates? How would you recommend candidates best prepare for the interview?

"Research the company well before applying. Put a lot of work into your CV."
Consulting, Graduate, Dublin
"Look up online case studies to get a feel for what type of work consulting actually is. Try to tie all of your experiences together into a cohesive story that has brought you to apply for Accenture. You need to paint a rounded picture of yourself – academic results are all well and good but evidence of volunteering is highly regarded, as are all extra-curriculars. Have you set up your own business, organised events, contributed to publications etc? Anything that may pique their interest in you as being a slightly different candidate is good."

"Don't over prepare and try to be yourself. Think about experiences you have had that required you to demonstrate teamwork, leadership, ambition, determination, drive and resilience and bring these to life in your interview."

"Reach out to people within Accenture and ask questions to gain a better understanding of the roles and Accenture as a company. Be confident and ensure you understand your competencies."
Consulting, Graduate, Dublin
"I found preparing for the interview quite easy as there was a lot of information about the company, as well as the great work that has been done, online. I would recommend potential candidates study the company and be able to discuss all areas of their CV well."
Graduate, Dublin
"When it comes to interviews, try to have a few unique questions that will make you stand out. Questions are usually asked at the end of an interview and they are the last thing that the interviewer will remember."
Graduate, Dublin
"Think of the skills required to succeed in the role and relate these to your past experiences. For business case studies, think of the key considerations for managing a project and the relevant questions to ask. This will guide your queries during this part of the interview process."
Graduate, Dublin
"Prepare for a series of standard, competency-based interviews. Know what the company does and try to find examples of projects and of the work you may be doing."
