"The hours can be difficult to manage during busy periods. There can be an inconsistency in levels of support provided by fee earners as some can be incredibly accommodating and give you plenty of support while others are less available and don't communicate as much. These fee earners are very much the minority in the firm, though."

"Part of being a trainee (at any firm) is having to do menial tasks such as the preparation of folders and books, printing and scanning. However, I think that a greater effort could be made to engage trainees in more legal-focused work (as well as doing the tasks described above). I think this is particularly important in the case of third-year trainees in order to bridge the gap between being a third-year trainee and a newly qualified solicitor."
