One Small Change (graduates)

If you could make one small change to improve your job, what would it be?

2016

"More interaction and more structure to the programme. The organisation is left to key managers who are already working under high pressure and tight schedules. I'd say dedicated organisers would be advisable."
Graduate, Galway
"Maybe do the first-year training through Engineers Ireland so it's organised by an external company while receiving accreditation."
Graduate, Galway
"Give graduates the option to apply for the mechanical engineering and R&D roles separately as most grads who were hired had a preference based on their degrees."
Graduate, Galway
"Market more products to colleges that specialise in engineering."
Entry level, Galway
"Heighten the training on technical problem solving, engineering knowledge, and skills."
Graduate, Galway
"Make the training more specific."
Graduate, Clonmel Co. Tipperary
"I'd like there to be more mixing with other grads, or previous grads, to get advice on their experiences. I think there should be more general meetings with HR and managers to let us know what to expect and how to further ourselves in the company."
Graduate, Galway
