"This is something that struck me from the beginning. All members of management are extremely approachable. After only a few months of training the Managing Director approached me and asked me how my training was going and was genuinely interested in my feedback. Most managers are good role models but graduates are also provided with mentors who are not their line manager whose role is to answer questions/help with problems that the graduate does not feel comfortable asking their line manager. "I have only had one manager since starting, but I am satisfied with the manager I have and mentoring I have received. Internal communication is frequent and informal and we make sure that everyone on the team is up to speed. Performance feedback is mainly carried out in your appraisals, every six months for your first 18 months, then once a year.
