"The scheme is set up for the long term. This means that there are more incentives and it gets more lucrative the longer you are with the company. It's a great scheme, though I am still a bit impatient with it."
Graduate, Dublin
"It was very reasonable and overtime was also paid."
Intern, Dublin
"It's okay as our training contract and exams are paid for."
Graduate, Dublin
"For my level of knowledge and how much training and development I received, I think the remuneration policy and rate are very competitive."
Intern, Dublin
"It is not a huge amount but you can't grab at an extra few thousand for the sake of the short term. Once you pass your exams in PwC, you will earn more than you could have if you had started in a higher paying job elsewhere but did not progress with the professional qualifications."
Graduate, Dublin
"Once you complete each level of exams, your pay increases. Therefore, it can work as a way to motivate you to study."
Graduate, Dublin
"The salary is probably average for one of the Big 4. However, I would say that it can be quite challenging to live off the wages at times because Dublin is such an expensive place to live in terms of rent."
Graduate, Dublin
"I know that I could be paid more in another line of work. In this sector, taking a bit less pay in return for being put through my professional exams with exam support classes in work and all book expenses paid for, makes the pay worth it. Also, the pay makes for comfortable living and is much more than I've ever been paid before."
Graduate, Dublin
"I have been given an estimate of my future pay when I start next October. I'm happy with this as a trainee salary."
