How satisfied are you with the quality of the work you're assigned?
"My role is dedicated to brand building, education, and indirectly supporting volume driving activities for the Irish Whiskey Portfolio. The role serves to increase brand awareness and drive incremental consumption occasions, deliver neighbourhood activations, communicate via PR and Digital Hubs, recruit new consumers, lead high level staff/consumer trainings research, track market level trends and serve as a whiskey expert for the Irish whiskey portfolio."Marketing, Graduate, Austin, Texas
"I am only one month into the job and I have enjoyed facing some successes and some challenges. I think I will keep gaining more job satisfaction with more experience."Marketing, Graduate, Madrid, Spain
"My work involves maintaining relationships with bartenders, creating and carrying out events, and thinking up ideas to generate excitement about the brand."Marketing, Graduate, Tokyo, Japan
"I face different challenges every day which means I am learning an exceptional amount only a few weeks into my role. In a largely field based role, I am responsible for building relationships with our target market and educating them about whiskey. As well as this, I support the local sales and brand teams. I also have the opportunity to run my own events and be as creative as I wish."Marketing, Graduate, Manchester
"In Cork and Galway I focused on the ambassador role which involved promoting Jameson and the JGL perfect serve, building relationships with accounts, holding comparative taste testing, distributing point of sale, holding promotional events, and creating brand advocacy."Marketing, Graduate, Cork, Galway and Dublin
"At work I come up with new and exciting ways to make the brand visible within Norway, which is a heavily restricted market with alcohol laws."Marketing, Graduate, Oslo, Norway
"I am generally field based, going to different bars and clubs and trying to establish new relationships with bartenders, so making bartenders and bar owners advocates of Jameson around Shanghai. I also need to maintain existing relationships that have been created by the previous ambassador."Graduate, Shanghai, China
"It is a very hands on role, so if you're the kind of person who likes being busy and having to hit the ground running then it's perfect for you. We are also left to our own independence a lot and have to use our own initiative, which means that you have such a big say in all that is done within the company and can try out different things. There is no typical day in this job, in my first two weeks here in Cyprus I was driving around Limassol one day meeting key accounts and then doing tastings and events the next."Marketing, Graduate, Nicosia, Cyprus
"I love the independence of this job. I understand the role and my team allow me to fully take control of bar choices, etc."Marketing, Graduate, Lille, France
