"It varies from project to project and client to client. Overall, it's satisfying and engaging."

"I would have been happier with receiving more work but, as there were three other interns in my department, I understand that it may have been difficult to have a significant amount of work dispersed among us."
Intern, Dublin
"I was constantly kept busy with interesting work, which challenged my capabilities but meant I learned a lot."
Intern, Dublin
"At the moment I am dealing with a lot of risk management paperwork. Although repetitive, it teaches me a bit about clients, helps me to create relationships with my colleagues and keeps me busy."
Graduate, Dublin
"At the moment, the work is quite repetitive and basic in nature, which is to be expected as we have only recently joined the firm and are learning the basics and information about the clients. Despite this, it is clear that there is a fast pace of learning in the firm as the buddies to which we have been assigned (who are a year ahead of us) are dealing with quite complex projects and have input during meetings etc. This is the level that we expect to be at this time next year and this is encouraging."

"I am doing a variety of small tasks day to day but I hope to do more challenging tax calculations in time."
Graduate, Dublin
"I have been given lots of different types of work from tax compliance to consultancy work. I am primarily working for a big client but am still given the opportunity to get experience with other clients. I feel as though I can ask to be exposed to a certain client or job and I will be accommodated. When completing work, I am aware that I can ask questions and not be looked down on for doing so – questions are welcome here as they want us to learn and progress."
Graduate, Dublin
"I have been lucky enough to be exposed to work of a varying nature. I have done the normal compliance work such as tax returns but I've also done briefings and applied for PAYE exemptions."
Graduate, Dublin
"The quality of work I was assigned as an intern was the greatest learning opportunity I had. I got to explore many different roles and was never given a 'routine'. I did feel that, at times, my level and inexperience was overlooked and too much was expected of me, however. While I am glad that I was pushed and got a real taste for life as a graduate, I was left on my own with a lot of work and little guidance on certain jobs."
Intern, Dublin
"So far I have been given a variety of work. As I am an associate, the work is basic enough but it is as interesting as I think it could be at this stage."
