"All analysts are sent to training internationally upon joining. This is a high-point of the graduate programme. There are lots of opportunities to pursue training in relevant career areas or external qualifications that people want to pursue."
Entry level, Dublin
"Training is always being provided. I have been on communication writing skills course, Excel courses and plan to do specialised technology courses in my area."
Graduate, Dublin
"There are endless optional and mandatory training sessions made available in all areas of the business."
Graduate, Dublin
"Accenture offer free training for whatever project you get on to suit you, and there are many offers for different career paths and training to suit you. Initial training is abroad for new graduates."
Graduate, Dublin
"There are excellent training opportunities and each employee has a dedicated training budget."
Graduate, Dublin
"I did a week of training in Dublin, which covered the essential skills an analyst will need. I then did two weeks training abroad which covered all of these skills in more detail. It also gave us experience with the company's processes and methodologies. Some of the skills I picked up were presenting skills, time management skills and communication skills."
Graduate, Dublin
"Accenture offer opportunities to engage in both external and internal training. There is always a handover before going onto a new role too, so you would never go into a role blind."

2014

"There is no mandatory training or skills development as part of the graduate 'programme' bar the initial two-week training period. I definitely feel some project management skills or some formal training classes would have been hugely beneficial. Informally, I have learned a lot on the ground working on my project every day."
Entry level, Dublin
"Training is brilliant! When you begin working at Accenture you get trained for one week in the Dublin office and two weeks in Chicago with new beginners from all around the world."
Consulting, Graduate, Dublin
"We have a fantastic training programme that consists of e-learning, in the office training and training overseas with other Accenture offices. There is huge variety to improve your technical and soft skills."
Midlevel, Dublin
"The Core Analyst School is a great introduction into Accenture. Having spent two weeks in Chicago when I first joined I got first hand experience of Accenture's commitment to develop their employees skill set."
Entry level, Dublin
"I have done several training courses, from mindfulness to project management and technical training in SAP. Most training is done internally, which can mean it is not industry-recognised, however Accenture will also sponsor employees to do a wide range of external courses and certifications. I have completed Project Management and Business Analysis certs with PMI and the IIBA which were both funded by Accenture. I also got training days off work to complete the exams which is part of the training budget, assuming the project can accommodate this."
Midlevel, Dublin
"I travelled to Bangalore to learn Java training within my first month of joining the company. The training was intensive but very enjoyable. I have also received training in Microsoft Dynamics Configuration."
Graduate, Dublin
"Tailored to employee's interests and work goals. I'm currently studying for my project management certification."
Graduate, Dublin
"Excellent training programmes. The difficulty comes with getting the time and approval to undertake them."
