S&P Global Ratings 2017 Summer Internship Programme

Position description

The S&P Global Ratings 2017 Summer Internship Programme is a 10 week summer training programme commencing in June/July 2017. The Program seeks to attract high achievers from a diverse pool of undergraduate institutions. Interns will be expected to work well within a team and demonstrate exceptional learning agility, creativity, and problem solving ability.
Interns will also be offered the opportunity to assist S&P Global in achieving its mission of being one of the leading providers of the highest quality risk evaluations and analytical information to the world's financial markets. An intern’s responsibilities depend on the business group they support, but interns will typically work on projects that include providing timely and accurate quarterly financial statistics, providing data analysis, assisting in reporting, research and presentations, modeling, process improvement, and numerous ad-hoc writing projects.
Interns will also complete a group mock ratings committee project for the duration of the summer program. The teams will be provided with an unrated company or entity and will be responsible for all due diligence and research, in order to develop a suggested credit rating for the assigned entity.
