Business Overview

Intel Corporation was founded in 1968. Intel decided to locate its European manufacturing and technology headquarters in Ireland in 1989. Intel is now the largest manufacturing and technology organisation in Ireland. Intel Leixlip has two operational semiconductor factories. Our latest and most advanced facility is Fab 24 which manufactures 300mm wafers, the latest generation of manufacturing technology. It produces microprocessors and communication silicon.

JOB TITLE: Finance Intern

The Finance group in Intel Ireland is a challenging, interesting, fun and professional area to work in. A dynamic and fast moving environment that demands a driven focused and flexible individual. The finance group is embedded in everything that Intel does. Every project has finance at its core, upgrading and maintenance of our facilities, building new facilities, planning and control of manufacturing and operational expense, general accounting, treasury and revenue. In short finance is the bedrock of our business, a business that thrives on teamwork and we are in the process of hiring additional strong team players.

The finance group is a dynamic group that controls many projects and all aspects of the business. This placement is designed for students interested in gaining invaluable real-world experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world leader, a giant in the microelectronics business and become part of a very successful dynamic team.


We are looking for dedicated, motivated, reliable individuals who are capable of working well in a team environment.
