Management Information Systems Analyst – Graduate Development, Reprographic Systems Ltd, Dublin 8

Reprographic Systems design and manufacture flexographic printing plates for the packaging and labelling industry in Ireland and the UK. They specialise in the graphic reproduction of text and images for flexographic printing and have extensive experience in all flexographic print applications including Corrugated Case, Flexible Packaging, Label, Carton, Medical Packaging and Bag and Sack.


The overarching objective of this project is to design and develop a bespoke, innovative, and integrated Management Information Systems (MIS) to facilitate change and enhanced efficiency within Reprographic Systems Ltd. In this role you will be involved in a major Management Information Systems innovation and process development project to transform the business into a leading edge flexible photopolymer production company. 

Reporting to the Company Supervisor, you will be employed by Reprographic Systems Ltd to lead this InterTradeIreland FUSION project in partnership with Ulster University.  To be successful in this role you will need to have both soft interpersonal skills, such as communication, decision making, team building and leadership abilities, as well as hard technical skills. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop these skills through a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in Business & Management whilst carrying out your role.  You will also have the opportunity to utilise your technical skills and develop your understanding of MIS systems and its integration with operational processes.

Main FUSION Project Responsibilities and Duties

  • To carry out the tasks outlined in the project workplan and liaise with your Company and Academic Supervisors on an ongoing basis.
  • To help develop and optimise process systems for operational efficiency and cost savings
  • To convene and service monthly technical meetings with the core project team (Graduate, Company Supervisor and Academic Supervisor)
  • To report formally on a quarterly basis on progress with the workplan to a Project Management Group (PMG), this includes the assigned FUSION Consultant representing InterTradeIreland.
  • To train staff so that the new technology is fully transferred and embedded in the company
  • To work closely with the academic partner and travel to the academic institute as required.
  • Any other duties which might fall within the general ambit of the post.     



Candidates must possess:

  • Min Hons Degree in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering / Information Technology / Software Development or a Production Management related discipline.
  • Be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland and to travel across the Island of Ireland (Both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland) as required


  • Practical experience of MIS design and/or development and/or implementation
  • Understanding of business process analysis
  • Practical experience of working as part of an operations team in business process improvement
  • Solid understanding of a high level computing language
  • Demonstrable experience in cloud technologies or databases
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Have demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Have demonstrated drive and enthusiasm
