Intel Ireland - Shanon County Clare

Admin to the Software Director and administrative support to the Software Engineering team who will execute many of the daily business processes associated with the smooth operation of a large distributed engineering organization. Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following: manage calendars, travel & visa arrangements, quarterly events and submitting T&E expense claims, coordinate the agenda and minutes of the weekly Staff meetings and set up training & interviewing sessions as required. The successful candidate will work on varied ad hoc assignments requiring collection of data and input from multiple sources, collating and assembling the data into a format suitable for presentation to executive management. Assignments are complex and diversified in nature and may require working within a globally dispersed team. Judgment and decision making ability is required in resolving moderately complex problems.

Strong computer skills are a must - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point, Sharepoint.Confident self-starter who is able to work on own initiate to solve problems. Some experience with Databases & Document Repositories preferable. Must have the ability to execute moderately complex and/or composite tasks with a high degree of precision getting the job right first time.Previous experience of working in a global IT company and with multiple time-zones & cultures is an advantage. Must possess excellent verbal communications skills and well developed written communications skills. Ability to track and proactively work issues to closure, has the self-confidence to follow through and challenge senior middle managers for deliverables;

Third level education preferred.
