Every year we recruit approximately 300 graduates to join us as trainees in our offices nationwide. All of our trainees pursue the ACA qualification while training in our Audit, Tax, Consulting, Restructuring, Transaction Services or Corporate Finance practices. Graduates who work in the area of Taxation also have the opportunity to pursue the chartered tax qualification.

In KPMG’s Tax practice, our role is to monitor and anticipate changes to tax legislation, in Ireland and abroad, and to respond quickly with advice tailored to our clients’ commercial requirements. Our strength and depth in tax is unrivalled. We are the market leader advising clients in the Energy, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Property, Manufacturing, Food and Drink, the Knowledge Economy and the Distribution sectors, as well as having a very large Private Client practice.

At KPMG, tax consulting is not an isolated discipline – it is an integral part of every business. Our professionals need to have a wide range of commercial skills. For this reason, if you join our Tax Consulting practice, your first objective will be to achieve the Chartered Accountants Ireland qualification (ACA). On top of that, you will develop skills in taxation by undertaking the Irish Taxation Institute or the Chartered Tax Consultant examinations.
