Role Purpose

The purpose of the graduate’s role is to:

  • Add business acumen and technical product expertise to the North America client engagement teams
  • Provide support to the Cora Systems teams across all the industry verticals that we target
  • Gain learnings from interactions with potential customers and existing customers which will help to sharpen the go-to market offering for our target verticals
  • Contribute to the design of our software products by influencing our software development team, including user interface design, business process and development of new functional modules to meet our customers’ needs
  • Identify market verticals or niches in which the Cora Systems solution could become the industry standard due to the fit or to specific content which becomes part of our base product offering

Graduate Tasks / Key Deliverables

  1. Shadow an existing Solutions Engagement Consultant on a number of customer engagements
  2. Configure a demonstration environment for use in an active customer/prospect engagement
  3. Deliver an element of a Product Demonstration to a prospect or client
  4. Deliver a full product demonstration to a prospect or client
  5. Facilitate a discovery workshop with customer or prospect
  6. Manage the interaction between solution engagement team and the prospect through the full engagement lifecycle – from initial contact to discover workshop, RFI/RFP completion, final demonstration for a number of client engagements
  7. Gain learnings from interactions with potential customers and existing customers which will help to sharpen the go-to market offering for our target verticals and present/demonstrate this enhanced market understanding to senior management and to the product owner so that it can be incorporated into our go-to market proposition or developed as product functionality.

Skills / Knowledge Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An understanding of business transactions and some commercial awareness
  • Excellent demonstration skills with the ability to engage and interact with all levels of an organisation on both a business and technical perspective
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex customer requirements and help shape proposed solutions
  • An understanding of working as part of cross-functional interdependent teams
  • The ability to deliver against deadlines
  • IT literacy with technical configuration capabilities with a knowledge of .net and HTML an advantage
  • An understanding of the principles of good project management with a high level understanding of different development methodologies (AGILE/Waterfall etc) an advantage

Desirable Qualities

  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative
  • Travel is an integral part of the role – someone with a desire to see different parts of North America would be great
  • Great team-working and leadership abilities to enable guidance of technical and business staff
  • An ability to filter information to understand the few key points and then play these back to potential clients
