Role Purpose

The successful graduate will work with us to:

  • Create a long-term business plan. This plan will outline our business objectives, core competencies and a definite on our potential and existing markets
  • Increase marketing techniques to increase sales – keep up to date with new marketing trends i.e. company website, client presentations, new innovations
  • Increase market share – take on new scale projects (not deviating from our expertise), expansion of our company’s promotional reach
  • Keep up to date with new TECH innovations, the company is currently introducing ACONEX and online document management system
  • Monitor industrial trends, this can help us pinpoint industrial segment rise in the construction sector

Graduate Tasks / Key Deliverables

The graduate’s main tasks will include the following:

  1. Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  2. Develop and maximise strong, productive partnerships with key nominated high grade customers through a professional needs-based selling approach
  3. Establish and maintain effective communication links with other business units to identify and maximise all sales opportunities
  4. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  5. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  6. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  7. Attending conferences, meetings and industry events
  8. Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client sales pitches
  9. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s services
  10. Identifying new sales leads
  11. Pitching services
  12. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
