Location: 14 Model Farm Rd., Melbourne Business Park, Cork

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 35 hours per week

Remuneration: €1,500 per month

2into3 transforms not-for-profits through consulting, recruitment and research. Our team builds capacity through fundraising strategy development, organisational strategy development, talent acquisition, change management and evidence-informed decision-making.

The 2into3 Not-for-Profit Graduate Programme aims to connect the best graduate talent on the market with not-for-profit organisations across all spectrums of the sector. Each trainee is mentored by 2into3 throughout their placement and is given the prospect of progressing into an entry level role on completion of the programme.  

2into3 are recruiting a Fundraising Trainee for Age Action who will be based in the organisation’s Cork office.

Age Action is the leading advocacy organisation on ageing and older people in Ireland.  The mission is to achieve fundamental change in the lives of all older people by eliminating age discrimination, promoting positive ageing and securing their right to comprehensive and high-quality services. The vision is that Ireland becomes the best country in which to grow older.

To fulfil the organisation’s fundraising ambitions and further its scope of fundraising activity in Cork and surrounding areas, Age Action is seeking to add a driven and motivated fundraising trainee to its team.

  • Third level qualification
  • High motivation
  • High degree of initiative, flexibility and creativity
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills                      
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Native or fluent English speaker
  • Demonstrable commitment to the not-for-profit sector
