Associate Consultant (Graduate Entry Level)

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Glemser Technologies inc., Bethlehem PA, USA; we are currently recruiting for two Associate Consultants to join our expanding Dublin office. These are not technical or software development positions but rather both are entry-level computer science graduate positions suitable to individuals with a strong business IT applications and SDLC acumen to work in a team that will assist clients assessing, selecting, validating and configuring industry specific software solutions that solve high-level regulatory and compliance implementation standards.

About The Opportunity

We have an entry-level opening for a colleague to apply software to solve some of the most pressing challenges of leading clients in the life science industry. In this role, you will be responsible for providing analysis, configuration, testing, validation and support in the delivery of software solutions at client locations around the world. For validation delivery, your responsibilities will be to design, execute and summarise tests of IT solutions that comply with life sciences regulations. You will work with a mentor in a collaborative team to grow your skills in system administration and implementation, as well as software quality assurance as an integral part of a complete software development life cycle.


  • Analyse customer requirements through documentation, workshops and interviews
  • Advise clients on design approaches, evaluate and develop business process workflows
  • Development of computerised systems validation deliverables, such as:
  1. Risk and compliance assessment
  2. 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance
  3. User Requirements Specification
  4. Traceability Matrix
  5. Installation Qualification Report (IQ)
  6. Operational Qualification (OQ)/System Test Protocols, Scripts and Reports
  7. Performance Qualification (PQ)/User Acceptance Test Protocols, scripts and Reports 
  8. Validation summary Report
  • Install, Configure and Test software based on client requirements
  • Author, Review, and Approve software requirements, designs, testing and documentation at each stage of the software development lifecycle
  • Maintain the company’s quality management procedures and system
  • Continually communicate project status to all parties involved
  • Fulfil end user support requests
  • Ability to travel to client locations


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with at least a 2.1 honours degree
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, written and customer interfacing skills
  • Superb organisational skills to achieve targets on time
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Testing, executing and reporting experience a plus
