Human Resources and Training Co-ordinator
Purpose of the Job: To assist in the overall running and administration of the Human Resource Department.
Responsible to: Human Resource Manager
Salary: 26,000 per annum
To assist in the Human Resource functions in line with the agreed procedures.
To assist in developing the image of the hotel as a good employer.
To play an integral role in the recruitment and selection process, including setting up of interviews, ensuring references are checked, applications are processed and all candidates are followed up with.
To send out all internal items such as Birthday cards,”thank you” notes etc.
To ensure the team notice boards are kept up to date and in good order.
To carry numerous Training courses including Induction, Manual Handling, Customer Care, Skills Training etc
To carry out Training Audits on a monthly basis with the Departmental Managers
To become part of the Team Committee and help organise internal events.
To input all data into the Human Resource computer system, TMS
To attend meetings and document as required.
To organise the monthly team committee meeting, booking room and distributing forms to representatives. Sending out minutes to departments on completion of the meeting.
To check that all team members are wearing the correct uniform and adhere to the correct Grooming standards of the hotel at all times. To order any uniforms and administer new uniforms to new starters and current team members.
To spot check the locker rooms (both male and female) at least twice a week. Also to issue lockers to all new starters.
To order application forms, name badges and any other stationary for the office.
To write out bank, pps number and confirmation of employment letters for all team members as necessary.
To carry out any other fair and reasonable request from the Human Resource Manager.
To communicate on a daily basis with the Human Resource Manager on any issue that may require further attention.
