Flow Technology is a process engineering company designing and building complete process systems in our own workshops and at customers’ sites in the Pharmaceutical, Beverage and Dairy process industries in Ireland. The projects undertaken usually involve the handling and processing of liquids and powders. Our capability includes the site installation of projects using our own craftsmen, engineering workshops and an engineering design office with CAD facilities.
In addition to our project work we also represent a number of foreign manufacturers of specialised process equipment in the Irish Market. The process equipment used includes pumps, heat exchangers, valves, rotating jet cleaning equipment and decanters.Engineering work at our company involves the marketing, sales, design, implementation and commissioning of both components and systems.
We are looking for a graduate engineer with 0 to 2 years experience whose initial role will include:
- Collation of documentation for project handover
- Preparation of drawings on AutoCAD
- Material organisation and support for projects
- Assistance in the commissioning of process systems
- Technical support and sales for process equipment applications
The position will suit a person with a good honours process, chemical or mechanical engineering degree, good interpersonal skills and a consistent record of initiative and achievement. Candidates with a post-graduate qualification in a similar discipline would also be considered.
The work is varied and challenging and requires a commitment to get the job right first time. A full driver’s license or the immediate prospect of same would be desirable. He / She will work in our offices and on site with our senior engineers assisting them in the execution of projects and applications support for process equipment.
Opportunities to develop and progress as an engineer will be plentiful. Training where required will be encouraged and facilitated. The ultimate progression would be for the engineer to develop into a key engineer in the company undertaking the sales, design and implementation of projects and equipment in their own right.
Remuneration will be competitive and progressive with performance. The appointment will be for an initial 12 month period and may be extended thereafter.
