Counter Attendance and Customer Service

The main tasks of the counter attendance are to serve customers, but also will be required to use the cash register, restock items and, on occasion, wash dishes, clean the restaurant/ counter area and other tasks in general (as requested by the Supervisor) and follow all HACCP procedures.

The following are also tasks required of the counter attendance:

DURING THE DAY:

  • Cash in the cash machine is adequate
  • Check orders from the app, website and call in
  • Answer calls and take phone order
  • Place the order and print the orders according to the time scale
  • Pass the orders to the kitchen or shop
  • Ensure there is driver, appoint driver and ensuring drivers send the orders on time
  • Ensure the area is clean/ House keeping:

     - Clean Table top

     - Check Floor for Rubbish/ Spilt

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for the staff and customers at all times

NIGHT (before leaving):

  • House keeping
  • Cash accounting (Settle account with drivers)
  • Turn off all lights

These roles will be based in Cork, either in M arina Commercial Park/ Edenhall.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Customer Service: 1 year
  • Flexible with regard to working hours
  • Must be available to work shifts Monday - Sunday
  • Physically able to work on their feet
  • Able to multi-task
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Fluent English

Job Type: Full-time/ Part-time

Salary: €9.80 /hour

Commencement Date: Immediately
