Financial Accountant/Controller

Reporting to:

Managing Director & MC Bauchemie’s Financial Controller

Job Duties:

  • Participation in the preparation of the annual sales, costs and profit budgets
  • Monthly monitoring  of development of costs, sales & profit
  • Determination of the liquidity requirements
  • Co-ordination with the local tax consultants and accountants on tax situation
  • Dates and content  preparing annual balance sheet
  • Monitoring of stock value and time limits of sell by dates
  • Management of liquidity (credit conditions, conditions of fixed-term)
  • Investment Planning (including economic calculation –payback time)
  • Monitoring of sales development and evaluation of the quality of staff
  • Benchmark comparison with similar business entities (revenues per capita, DB etc.)
  • Assist in choosing local controlling staff and training up as necessary
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Travel as and when required to group companies overseas each month
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Understands basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures
  • Able to work independently with some direction
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment
  • Team player who works productively with wide range of people
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
  • Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Good computer/keyboarding skills
  • No health or other issues preventing regular long distance travel
