The company also provides a number of related processes and services including assembly, bonding and logistics.
What the role will involve…….
This FUSION project will develop processing of Liquid Silicone Rubber polymers by Injection moulding and/or 3D printing for products targeting the premium markets such as medical devices for Cardiology, Vascular, Endoscopy, Drug Delivery, Blood filtration, Biotech and General Surgical markets.
This new technology will allow the company to become the first such processor on the island of Ireland and to become the ‘go to’ supplier for these lucrative markets.
As well as an attractive annual salary offering of €25,000–38,000 (dependent on experience), the successful graduate will lead this 18 Month project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University and will also have the opportunity to study for a Post Grad Diploma in Business & Management as part of the employment package.
We need you to have…….
To hold a 2:1 Honours degree in mechanical engineering, general engineering, polymer engineering or manufacturing systems
Legally permitted to work in the EU.
We would like you to have…..
- Relevant industrial experience within industry
- 1-year relevant industrial experience in the application of polymer processing
- Understanding of manufacturing systems and procedures, production, quality control and capacity utilisation
- Extensive IT skills and capability.
- Experience of Polymer processes or tooling
- Experience of 3D printing
- Project management skills
- Relevant higher degree
