Our production facilities are based in Midleton, Cork and in Clondalkin in Dublin. Midleton Distillery is a complex production environment located on a 65-hectare site. Every drop of the Irish Distillers portfolio, which includes brands such as Jameson, Powers, Midleton Very Rare, the Spot range, Redbreast and Method & Madness are distilled and matured in Midleton. Our Distillery equipment includes fermenters, distillation pots, distillation columns, boilers, pumps, valves and instruments along with an automation control system.

Whiskey from Midleton is transported to Fox and Geese bottling plant in Dublin where it is bottled, packaged and distributed in a world class manufacturing environment, before being exported to over 130 markets around the world. Our highly automated state of the art process systems and packaging equipment includes high speed filling and labelling equipment.
Since 2012, Irish Distillers has invested almost €400m to double production at Midleton Distillery and bottling capacity at Fox and Geese in Dublin to meet global demand for our products


The Jameson Engineering Graduate Programme offers bright and ambitious engineers the opportunity to begin an exciting career with the world’s leading producer of Irish whiskey. Successful graduates will complete a two-year programme at our Midleton Distillery, Cork or at our Bottling Operations plant in Clondalkin Dublin where the world’s best-selling Irish whiskeys are created and bottled before being exported around the globe.

You will work alongside a world-class whiskey production team in a structured and challenging Programme that offers real responsibilities and the opportunity to develop a broad range of soft and technical skills. Our ambition is to support you to become our engineers of the future. You will work with innovative processes and state-of-the-art technology, while drawing on the traditions of great whiskey makers who have come before us. From process improvement, technology and sustainability projects, there has never been a more exciting time to join Irish Distillers.


We will provide you with a supportive and structured learning environment starting with a two-week introduction to our business & operations at our Head Office Ballsbridge, Dublin. Graduates will then be placed on structured rotations in Midleton or Dublin. Graduates based at Midleton Distillery will undertake rotations across key areas of the Distillery including the micro distillery, engineering, bond operations and the distillery operations. Those based in Dublin will work in areas such as engineering, bottling operations, packaging and vatting. All graduates will have the support of a mentor & buddy framework, as well as opportunities to work on projects alongside the senior production management team. Our blended learning programme with help you develop both your technical and leadership skills through a combination of theoretical learning and on the job experience. Interested graduates are invited to become spokespeople for Irish Distillers, offering the opportunity to build your personal brand, developing communication skills and confidence.


Applicants from our preferred Engineering specialisms should also be self-starters who are ambitious, great problem solvers, self starters who are solutions focused, analytical and most importantly, have the desire to turn a job into a passion as they uncover the vast opportunities to grow long term in the Irish whiskey industry and globally within Pernod Ricard.

We are looking for Level 8 or Level 9 Graduates of the following Engineering Degrees;
