We are now looking for a number of entry level Software Developers to sit within our Delivery and Customer Enablement (DCE) group in Dublin. Our Software Developers play a hugely important part in ensuring our customers’ success through innovative and customer-centric software solutions. It’s an exciting time to be joining as we strive to provide successful transitions to the world of 5G connectivity and digital transformation.
Depending on your skills sets, knowledge and preference you could join either within our high profile customer facing Solutions Delivery Team who deliver end to end digital support systems across both business/operations and networks. Or our Product Development team which is in an exciting phase of developing new products to deliver state of the art cloud native solutions.
To succeed as an entry level Software Developer in either department you will need to be passionate about solving complex problems in an agile way, thriving in a fast paced, demanding environment and be eager to take on new problems and share solutions. Whichever team you join our people always have a curiosity to learn more and in return their work has a real impact from day one - giving them the opportunity to build truly cloud native applications on the most modern of software stacks.
To successfully join us as a Graduate/Entry Level Software Developer you must have;
- A degree or qualification in either Computer Science, Engineering or an IT related subject
- Knowledge of difference programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby and Shell
- Knowledge of CI-CD technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Database technology
- A familiarity with cloud native environment and building DevOps pipelines incorporating technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
- The ability to take technical guidance from your team through mentoring and e-learning – asking questions, thinking outside the box, challenging the norm to expand on your technical knowledge and expertise.
