The Irish Distillers Supply Chain Graduate Programme offers bright and ambitious Supply Chain Graduates the opportunity to begin an exciting career with the world’s leading producer of Irish whiskey. Successful graduates will complete a two-year programme at our Operations plant in Clondalkin Dublin, where the world’s best-selling Irish whiskeys are bottled and packaged before being exported to 130 markets around the globe.

You will work alongside our busy Supply Chain team in a structured and challenging Programme that offers real responsibilities and the opportunity to develop a broad range of soft and technical skills. Our Company

Led by Jameson and part of Pernod Ricard globally, Irish Distillers’ brands are driving the global renaissance in Irish whiskey. Jameson is the world’s bestselling Irish whiskey, exported to over 130 markets and hitting sales of 8 million cases in 2020. We produce several families of Irish whiskey including Jameson, Powers, Midleton Very Rare, the Spot range, Redbreast and Method & Madness. Our production facilities are based in Midleton, Cork and in Clondalkin in Dublin.

About Supply Chain

Our Supply Chain team manage the flow of our many different products to ensure they are in the right place at the right time.  Our vision is to 'proudly align people and systems to deliver success in every case'. The pace is fast and we need to be agile, so we can maximise productivity and continuously improve. The team acts as an important link between the customer and Irish Distillers through the management of all shipping and service requirements for our Global market companies and our 3rd party logistics operations in the Domestic Market.

The team are divided into 6 key business areas

  • Supply Planning
  • Demand Planning
  • International Customer Relationship Team
  • Transformation Team
  • Customs & Excise
  • Domestic Operations

Your Training & Development

We will provide you with a supportive and structured learning environment. Graduates will then be placed on structured rotations within the team working across the different functions within Supply Chain. Graduates will have the support of a mentor & buddy framework, as well as opportunities to work on projects alongside the Supply Chain management team, who will be accessible and supportive throughout the 2 year programme. Our blended learning programme with help you develop both your technical and leadership skills through a combination of theoretical learning and on the job experience.

What we look for

We are looking for Level 8 or Level 9 Graduates of Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transport, Business, Commerce, Business Information Systems or related discipline. Applicants should also be self-starters who are ambitious, solutions focused, analytical and most importantly, have the desire to turn a job into a passion as they uncover the vast opportunities to grow long term in the Irish whiskey industry and globally within Pernod Ricard.

Interview Process

Our recruitment process will happen between September to November 2021 with a start date of Sept 2022. We encourage you to apply as early as possible as we will be screening on an ongoing basis throughout September and October

  3. 1 hour interview with Supply Chain Leadership team
  4. Online psychometrics
  5. Final round on site at our Fox & Geese operations in Clondalkin, Dublin
